  • I want to go back to New York, during the trip, I don't think I had as much fun as I thought I would, but now that I've been back in Minnesota for a couple months again, I want to go back. The only reason I want to go back is because it sort of reminds me of Japan, with an available subway to almost anywhere, and the fact that I can read and communicate with people also helps. If only I had a limitless supply of money, I'd get a condo in manhattan, near the park. Actually, I'd probably be able to get a place there with a higher salary. It's completely retarded that the old ghetto condos there are going for at least 500k while the newest and nicest here in Minneapolis downtown are only at about 180k-250k. Anyway, I'm supposed to be calling Erika right now, so I'm just going to stop this update right here. I'm thinking about New York, Japan, and China still in my head, every day. I really should just learn Japanese and go live in Japan, that would be fucking sweet.

This whole entry was jibber jabber. I don't know what that means.

  • I don't know why I bothered buying this laptop without an Nvidia or ATI card in it, but for those of you who plan on ever playing a game on your laptop, don't ever get one without one of the only 2 video card companies that work for video games.

I just figured out how to ungray the selection for Expand panel image after finally figuring out exactly what kind of VIA/S3G IGP I have and when I do turn that selection off, it seems to burn the image into the monitor fairly quickly (about 5 minutes). After testing in WC3 and turning it on again, my screen was flickering on the top and bottom where the WC3 interface wouldn't change. It seems to be fixed now and all the flickering is gone, but I guess I will just have to play games in widescreen mode on this laptop, which doesn't happen often or almost never so that's what matters I suppose.

Anyway, Happy Turkey day, eat lots of turkey, ham, quail, plastic, whatever you like to eat on this magnificent eating day.
